Generation Asia Young Leaders Forum 2023 Highlight Reel
If you look at the past, western power did change completely the world of China by technological innovations. Now the massive China population is on the rise and they have gone into a technological search and development rise and being a great manufacturing power and by having a HUGE population gap we can't deny and force to stay the underdog.
Opened my mind with mayor global perspective
Hongyi shengwu Forget my wallet. Never mind, my passion card is here. I need transport money. So, this is the most helpful. What I need to buy. You will be delighted. Borrowed $50 from gourmet Expressed Ok, finish my coffee and 3 eggs. Uncle and your aunt. I will be the father figure in my house. Provident hongyi and bobby sup back me up. Mary don't know what to do. I saw a English gentleman in Toa Payoh coffeeshop. Wife and baby, toddler. He was talking to a man. Supposedly his father in law. The woman should be Mary, sitting quietly. Same like when Helen visits Mary, so to speak. After this Chinese lady finish feeding the toddler, she was up. Then, Mary stood up, the toddler plays with her nose. That's about it. So, out of 24 hours, Mary go 10 minutes of light hearted moment. Is that it. Do you understand HONGYI shengwu Understand. Siu hong Ang Karen Pamela Mr K SHANMUGAM Singapore Mr Davinder SINGH
Morning Mr K SHANMUGAM Singapore Mr Davinder SINGH Me, Siu hong Ang Karen Pamela I will fill my father's shoes, provident hongyi is behind me. Ok. I am going to do something super happy. Go Dhoby Ghaut, AMK Daiso may not have what I need. Bye, I will have lunch there. Please ignore me. THANKS for the update You are welcome. BYE hongyi shengwu Yibo Damish Weiting Liying Kenny Shawn Dou and Yibo China I will always be Chinese, provided I have done a good work in big ways. In Singapore Ok. Be cordial. Manners forget it. Hello bobby sup. Don't flash fanciful cars in front of me, ok. My siblings never had peace in the family. You will understand why.
Taiwan has never been any part of any nation. When a large nation simply want to take over Taiwan then the world should help to protect Taiwan from being invaded. Or else taking over can become a dangerous norm in the future from any bully nation or not?
American politicians are hypocrite who keeps stirring up troubles. They preach Democracy but practices 😈 Demoncracy 👿
Kishore, thank you ! You are amazing !
Orville... a very typical american cowboy😂😂
Not so much a discussion as Kishore taking Orville to school. Kishore was the voice of reason as usual, while Orville sounds both naive and close-minded at the same time.
China and Russia will jointly lead the BRICK countries to sideline the dollar as a global trading currency and that would be beginning of a universal peace and fair play. The USA has been the single most distablelizing force inthe world.
@Dr Mahbubani, stop wasting your time to convince these Anglo-Saxon people or media who still wants America hegemony in place, look who is the imperialist hegemony empire? Who does all these sanctions, coup d'etat, overthrow legitimate government, all these wars who started it, involved in it and behind it? US has been in wars ever since it has been founded, most probably 90% of the time, directly or indirectly. Trying to wake up a person who is pretending to be asleep is useless, stop wasting time on them, we should just spent time on those who can work along with each other and let US or the West hegemony keep dreaming on its own.
meh
Decide to skip this out of …………………
The issue i think should be the welfare of humanity over the issue of the super powers and their hegemony
I believe both sides were talking past each other without addressing each other's concerns. On one hand, Mr. Mahbubani talks about China's past disgrace, its legitimate rise in the 21st century, Asian vs Western views of China, learn from ASEAN countries on how live in the backyard of China, etc. On the other hand, Mr. Schell isn't focused on the issues at hand as he is everywhere ranging from India-China conflicts, Beijing Massacre, Marxism, etc etc. I think this forum is a dud. To be constructive, I prefer to see these scholars actively discussing these areas that contribute to the conflicts: - China-Taiwan cross strait tension: What can US and China do to reduce the tension here? - South China Sea militarization and conflict: What can US and China do to to reduce the tension here? - Ukraine/Russia conflict: What can US and China do to end the conflict? - China IP theft of both civil and military: What can US and China do to address the IP theft issue? - Fenthenyl flow: What can US and China do to stop the fenthenyl flow from China to US? Looking at the comments, it seems like most writers already have pre-conceived notions about US or China without objectively understanding the issues. A lot of blaming here... and this doesn't help with the situation moving forward.
What the f**k is south asia IT'S CALLED INDIAN SUBCONTINENT
Excellent moderation to bring the conversation back to relevant subjects and negate the danger of turning this discussion into a 'he said, she said' debate!
The problem lies with American polticians who disparge China for it's human rights violations while treating it's own citizens with racially and class discrimitive attitudes
Like the way you look at this. Using Hungary is not impossible haha. Concern upon CCP is unavoidable to most nations since the affects have been obvious so far. Love your say about Taiwan. And Lithuania is rock solid because of not-2much-dependent on China which should be more in other nations due to China as communist/no-democratic nation true & true and so not fit as any kind of world leader position, to me haha. Thanks
Russia isn't a communist country and it does have elections, so please consider leaving a leadership position open for Russia haha. "Taiwan" is actually a place name, and its official country name is the Republic of China. According to its constitution, its territory includes mainland China as well.
Kishore is a Chinese puppet. Shame on him. I thought his Indian roots would make him look otherwise but he's a disgrace.
Get them cloth chairs next time. The noise is so annoying.
"go capture that hill"
conveniently forgets vietnam korean wars occupation tibet xinjiang mongolia hong kong macau threats against republic of china in exile on taiwan
too bad the communist party does not respect minority languages labelled dialects nor religious nor journalism freedom
must be a mandarin speaking audience
这个kishore是收了ccp多少好处和裙带利益啊?直接恶堕成张维为和胡锡进的人形英语翻译机了
What about the Communist Maoist Wolf-warrior techno-autocracy who had a BEIJING MASSACRE 35yrs ago? How to spot a pseudo-intellectual by the amount of word salad spewed from the mouth. 😏
By the way, truly wonder whether reducing carbon has any reliable scientific evident(s) showing/guaranteeing that climate changes will be improved??? Carbon emission reduction is desirable but is it really connected to climate changes as the world has experienced currently???
@35:58 means China can make mistake while Philippines cannot make a " natural" mistake. Hypo
To a person, climate change may not be as bad as intercultural change since the later infringed a high affects at everyday level than climate change upon me, a Thai female mother.
Used to promote Intercultural ideas both in living and working environment. Until such ideas become exploited by specific group of people for example from communist china and created nasty networks in Thailand, my homeland. Also when I was bullied by LGBT network in Bangkok where I am. So I am now a very much stay-home person who has tried to avoid any contact with such cultures hahaha.

Philippines and many more countries are worried with the rising China. Orville is right.
No surprising to see the Caucasian guy see everything in ideological terms while Mahbubani is a sober realist.
I’m shocked how naive and arrogant the US professor is. I’m also satisfied that people in this comment section are much more rational than the professor.
All these conversations prove to me is that American power is so insane never in history since the British at the end of the Napoleonic wars has a nation been so safe and so secure
Multilateralism, and please less USA.
🤣🤣🤣 FAKE experts 🥳🤡🐒🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌‼️
Who defined Taiwan is part of China? And who define what China here referes to? People's Republic of China (Chins Mainland) or Republic of China ( Taiwan)? Current Status of Taiwan is the outcome of Civil War between GMD ( GUO MINDANG) And GCD (Gong Chandong), in which GCD took Mainland from GMD but left over Taiwan which is still in the hand of GMD. FROM the pointview of history and present, GCD or PRC never takes over Taiwan. TW is a part of Rubic of China. Whoever wants to seizes TW as part of PRC, who is the one that wants to re-starts war or "civil" war!

Mahbubani avoids talking about the issues, makes up facts and speaks for all of Asia. What a joke. CCP supporter in the extreme.
To stop the China's leading new world order, US can use countries in conflict with China to stop rise of China's leadership. Example China and India conflict, China and Taiwan conflict, China and south east asia countries.
Wow, this deep knowlege and good news for black people on this planet.
Free Tibet, free the Uighers, free fulon gong and all political prisoners of communist China!!!!!
There is something very interesting. Western countries often say that they believe Taiwan belongs to China in their offical statements, but they always want Taiwan to engage in a war with mainland of China.
True
Kishore: Just trade with China and pretend that nothing happened. Talks shit
I am Asian but i don't believe on that Asian narrative Kishore is talking about.
🤣
